Homemade Cuticle Oil
Do you have dry cuticles that need conditioning? Having conditioned cuticles makes your nails look better and can also help you to avoid the dreaded hangnail. Cutting cuticles can make you more susceptible to bacterial infection, so moisturizing them is a better option.
If you don't have or don't want to spend money on expensive cuticle oil then you don't need to look any further than your kitchen for the solution. Although there are many types of cuticle treatment that have a large list of ingredients, this simple solution works.
Begin by soaking your hands in warm soapy water to clean them and prep them for conditioning.
Then you have two options: First, you can simply just take olive oil and rub it into your cuticles, or Second, you can soak your cuticles in olive oil for 30 min's! Yep...that oil under the kitchen counter will work as a great moisturizer for your cuticles! If you need to remove some of the cuticle them mix some sugar with your olive oil and rub into your cuticles.
It's that easy!
